At our recent SEO Mastery Workshop conducted in Las
Vegas, Michael Marshall demonstrated a simple but
effective new SEO audit tool.
Michael is the original author, creator and mathematical
mind behind of the original LSI tool, ThemeMaster
which Robin Nobles and I introduced to our workshop
students several years ago with great excitement.
More recently, Michael's strategies on multivariate
analysis of competitive search landscapes has been
making news on several fronts. As recent as August,
Michael has joined our own SEO research team and has
agreed to assist us with the development of new training
modules for distribution through our growing network
of Search Engine Academys located in the local communities
across North America. Stay tuned for more news and
exciting developments in SEO training coming soon
to a community near you.
In the meantime, at our most recent Workshop, Michael
mentioned a simple little SEO audit and reporting
tool which he wanted to share with everyone so he
ran a demonstration.
Introducing SEM Check - a simple but effective new
SEO audit tool for quickly checking out your Web
The purpose of the tool is to run any Web site through
a series of Search Engine Optimization checks and
provide you with a detailed report on some of the
most common SEO challenges along with a brief explanation
on how to correct each issue along with audits of
how your Web site performed on each topical point.
The report is presented in a point and click expandable
menu which makes it easy to expand or collapse each
audit point along with further instructions.
